MAS East & ADS launch SC21 programme for the East of England

MAS East and ADS (Aerospace, Defence & Securities) hosted an initial introductury event at the PA Consulting Technology Centre on the 18th November, stongly supported by the regions prime Aerospace and Defence Manufacturers. The event brought together a selection of the East of England's SME Aerospace and Defence manufacturers to promote the benifits of the ADS 21st Century Supply Chain Programme, nominated and supported by their key customers from the region.

The event, chaired by Phil Curnock of ADS and Robin Cheyne, MAS East Programme Manager, provided 16 of the regions SME manufacturers a comprehensive overview of the SC21 programme. This was capably covered with the support of 3 of the SC21 strategic Partners and 5 of the regions key Aerospace and Defence Contractors, EADS Astrium, Marshalls Aerospace, MBDA, Selex Galileo and Thales. A special note of thanks must go to John Chopping of High-Tech Engineering who provided the SME's on the benifits to be achieved from the SC21 programme, High-Tech themselves having recently been awarded Silver for their achievements on the programme.

MAS East will continue to drive the SC21 programme within the East of England with the support of ADS and the regions prime Aerospace and Defence manufacturers.
