SC21

21st Century Supply Chains Programme

*

We realise achieving supply chain improvement is critical to the continued competitiveness of the UK Aerospace and Defence Industry and SC21 is instrumental in accelerating this process.

With international competition increasing, the participation of companies of all sizes throughout the UK supply chain is crucial to delivering real results from this modernisation programme.

High Tech Engineering have been actively engaged and committed to SC21 since 2006 and were the 1st precision engineering company to achieve Bronze recognition in Sept 2008, and are the first company to have sustained and improved performance levels to achieve Silver recognition in Oct 2009.

We also participate on the Special Interest and Performance Group committee and have given presentations at SC21 springboard events on behalf of the FAC, ADS and companies such as Bomardier and BAE Systems explaining how we have seen real business benefits and sustainable improvements due to our activities on the programme.

We are currently working with the National Skills Academy to deliver an SC21 BIT NVQ in our Training Academy.
